University Distinguished Teaching Scholar, Guggenheim Fellow, Monfort Professor, Professor, English

Dan Beachy-Quick is a poet, essayist, and translator. He’s taught Creative Writing and Literature at CSU for the last 15 years, and currently also serves as Assistant Chair and Undergraduate Coordinator of the English Department. His work has been supported by the Monfort, Lannan, and Guggenheim Foundations, and long-listed for the National Book Award in Poetry.

Robin Walter

Assistant Professor, Professor, College of Liberal Arts

Walter is an Assistant Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at Colorado State University and serves as the Program Director for the Green & Gold Initiative.

Walter is the author of Little Mercy (Graywolf Press, 2025), which was selected by Victoria Chang as the winner of the 2024 Academy of American Poets First Book Award. Her poetry and essays have been featured in American Poetry Review, Poets.org, Seneca Review, West Branch, Wildness and elsewhere.

Shrideep Pallickara

Monfort Professor, National Science Foundation CAREER Award, Board of Governer’s Excellence in Teaching Award, Professor, Computer Science

Shrideep Pallickara is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Colorado State University. He directs the Center for eXascale Spatial Data Analytics and Computing (XSD). Agencies in the United States and United Kingdom have funded his research. These include the National Science Foundation, the Department of Homeland Security (including the Long Range program), the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Agriculture, and the U.K's e-Science program. He a recipient of the Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching, the OLIE award, the National Science Foundation's CAREER award, and a Monfort Professorship.

Stephanie Foster, Ph.D

Stephanie Foster, Director of Assessment, supports the CSU community to create and use meaningful strategies for understanding student learning from the classroom to the educational program level and to the institution as a whole. Dr. Foster brings expertise in assessment and evaluation, especially in general education and high-impact practices such as undergraduate research, service-learning, and Honors education. Dr. Foster earned a PhD at the University of Georgia’s Institute of Higher Education.
